American Idol Hall Of Fame Nominee Comments from Website Visitors
Clay Aiken is definitely the ultimate idol. Not only can he sing
his heart out, but he relates extremely well to his fans. He is who he is and
doesn't make apologies for it. He has used his celebrity to do great things such
as benefits for UNICEF, Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots and his own
foundation the Bubel / Aiken Foundation. He inspires his fans to be actively
involved in their community and country. He is the epitome of the All-American
guy and therefore the ultimate American Idol.
Ace Young. Because not only can he sing, not only does he have the look, but he
has a great soul. He has done amazing work to help sick and injured children and
their families while they're at the Denver Children's Hospital.
Taylor Hicks: He has been an entertainer for the last ten years, and has worked
harder than any of the previous winners/runnerups to get where he is today. He
never once compromised himself for the cheese that Idol can be famous for at
times, and is his own man. He is the reason I joined in on the boards/groups
this year, even though I've been watching Idol from day 1, season 1. I also
traveled over 3000 miles to see him on GMA in July of 06, and the Idol concert
in Philly. Until then, I hadn't been to a concert in over 30 years. He is also
still working very hard, and deserves this honor.
Bo Bice is my favorite american idol of all time. Bo has a great voice, he sings
with heart and soul.....you can feel his singing. He's gorgeous and has his own
sense of style. He has the whole package: Great voice, sexy, awesome
personality, unique style and heart. Luv U Bo.....hugss & Love, Yoli
Carrie Underwood! She came from a little town, no one heard of her. She was
great from beginning....and she is still great. She worked hard for what she
wanted and it has shown. She is powerful, but she hasn't let it get to her head.
She's been an excellent idol to represent Oklahoma and the US!
No one has done what Carrie Underwood has done....debut album sells 5 million in
a little over a year...the fastest female to 5 million in history.....Female
Vocalist of the year....all the awards (ACMs, Billboard, AMAs, etc.)....no one
comes close!!!
No doubt, it's Clay Aiken. He's not only a phenomenol singer but he's a great
humanitarian. He's smart, funny, down-to-earth and sexy. He IS the American
Idol.
CLAY AIKEN!!!!!!! He belongs because he is the most awesome of all the Idols.
His voice, his heart, his soul and just everything about him is just soooo
beautiful and real!
Clay Aiken because he is a very good singer and humanitarian as well as teacher
and leader.
Clay Aiken is my all-time favorite American Idol! Not just because he can sing,
but he represents what being an American and an idol is all about. Someone to
look up to, to emulate, and who has the best interests of our greatest resource
in mind. Our children.
Clay Aiken belongs as the all time favorite because he has the lasting power and
the voice and the maturity to make him the world idol.
Clay Aiken is the best idol of all time. First of all, no celebrity has ever
worked harder to please his fans than Clay. Also, his focus is not on the money
and is only on the celebrity for the good it can bring to the causes that are
important to him. He is a man of honor with a noble and pure heart
Clay Aiken - Not only has he a voice that is beyond that is out of this world,
but he utilises being in the public eye to gain attention for those charities he
feels strong about. He is just a great example of an all round celebrity!
clay aiken---because he is the best...
clay aiken---have you not heard the guy? plus he's a light to the world...who
cares if he doesn't fit into the mold.
Clay Aiken should definitely be in the Hall of Fame. He has continually shown
himself to be an example of what an American Idol should be. He is not only
immensely talented but he doesn't only talk the talk; he walks the walk. He has
proven himself to be a truly caring individual with a heart for others. He truly
appreciated his fans who put him where he is and has never forgotten where he
started. He gives back to his fans and ALWAYS finds a way of connecting with
them and making them feel they are family.
Clay Aiken. He came being an unknown Geekish, mentally abused boy to become
a Confident superstar with a powerful, sensitive sound. He has said he wanted to
make a difference and he has with his foundation and his being a Unicef
Ambassador
My favourite American Idol to date is Elliott Yamin. Elliott belongs in the Hall
of Fame because he is an inspiration in so many ways! First and foremost,
because of the challenges that Elliott has gone through... diabetes (and what he
has now done to helps those with the disease, charity work etc...) the fact that
he's 90% deaf in 1 ear is incredible... considering how amazing of a vocalist
that he is!! Elliott may not have the stats of an album behind him at this
point, but he has been signed and will put out a killer album! Please put
Elliott on the Hall of Fame... he deserves it.
Thanks! :)
Carrie Underwood, best female country singer ever!!
Clay Aiken, Clay not only has the most wounderful voice but he is a person that
You can look up to no matter your age. His love for children and his doing so
much for others. Raising money not only for his foundation but for other
people's foundations. Clay truly has a heart that loves. He chose to serve on a
presendental company to help people with mental disablities. He did not have to
take his time to do this. Clay is the only former AI contestent that, I think,
comes back each year. Clay can sing anything as was heard on his Jukebox tour.
Yes, Clay Aiken to me is # ONE! Thank You for allowing us to express our
thoughts.

Clay Aiken should go down in history as the best American Idol contestant within
the Alumni, for the obvious reason, that boy can SING! But not only do I vote
for him for his accomplishments on AI but where his career has taken him
following American Idol. His accomplishments have surpasses all but Kelly
Clarkson, whether it be in sales or touring achievements. More than anything he
has won over uncountable hearts since his AI days. His record speaks for itself
but the opportunities after have set him apart from all. He does more than sing,
he shows heart and soul in all that he does and a thousand percent effort
everytime. He sets himself apart from being an AI graduate and is now a pop
star. Give the man his dues and please consider all votes for Clayton Aiken.
Thank you,

Clay Aiken is my favorite of all time, even though, after 5 years of viewing
this show, there are a number of contestants that didn't win who are phenomenal.
Clay does not fit a mold: he is a geek who really "cleaned up well," but he is
still just who he says he is, and nothing more. He does not try to fit the
entertainment world's idea of what a star should be, and yet he is adored by
tens of thousands of fans for just that reason. The phrase "I Came For The
Voice, I Stayed For The Man" is so appropriate, because besides that big voice,
there is an incredible human being inside that body. Clay is one of a kind, and
worthy of respect, and in my opinion, the AI Hall Of Fame.
I nominate CLAY AIKEN as my all time favorite American Idol!!!! First, and
foremost, there is "THE VOICE"!!!! which is Heaven sent and just gets better &
better!!!!!Second, there is his ability to CONNECT with audiences. Even those
who came to a concert as sceptics, leave well on their way to being Clayverted!
Third, there is his heart!!! He loves to sing, but that is not his only passion.
As a special education teacher, he is always looking for new ways to help
children and adults with learning disabilities and physical challenges. UNICEF
recognized his commitment to children when they appointed him an Ambassador For
Children. He founded and continues to work with his foundation, The Bubel/Aiken
Foundation, which works toward integrating children with special needs with
children without special needs, feeling that they each have something to share
of value with the other! President Bush recently appointed him to a Commission
that works for people with mental disabilities! Clay is the whole package,
talent, compassion, a desire to make a difference and a willingness to alllow
his God to show him the path he should take!
Clay Aiken is my favorite Idol...Clay is a man who has stood under pressure,
does not fight back, stands on his beliefs and convictions, is a man of his
word, lifts others up and does not put down. He has maintained close
relationships with Kelly and Rueben - welcoming them into his home - and
'cheers' them on. He has supported other Idols without fear for his own fame;
Clay knows where he is and where he is going. He works hard, and encourages his
fans to support charitable causes. He has received recognition from UNICEF as
their ambassador, supports 'camps for inclusion', nominated by the US President
as a committee member for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, and so
much more. Clay Aiken is phenomenal - He is a wonder, and oh yes, he sings
beautifully...somehow Clay has made others 'see' through his eyes in serving
others. Clay Aiken is an excellent role model - Thank you American Idol,
America. and Clay....you area good team; you did "GOOD". Now Clay and the
ClayNation are working to continue what you started
Clay Aiken Idol, He is my favoirte because he has been a tremendous inspiration
to people of all shapes and sizes and has proven himself to be a true role model
in working to help the world through UNICEF and Bubel Aiken Foundation. He loves
so much more of everyone else than he does of himself. Truly a person to look up
to and respect for not only his accomplishments but for what he has given back.
I feel that Clay Aiken should be in the Hall of Fame because he won over so many
peoples hearts with his beautiful voice and the person he is. He has a heart for
people especally those who have a difficult time in life. He has charities among
charities and he goes to places that you have never seen an American Idol go to.
In the very beginning Clay said " He wanted to make a difference". Well it
wasn't just talk like alot of them. He has and is still doing what he said. Clay
has made alot of differences in so many peoples lifes. Not just the special
needs children, but everyone. Clay is honest even though some people might not
agree and he is trust worthly. With all of his singing which is fantastic and
his performances he still makes sure that he stays true to himself and to the
people. To me, Clay diffenently should be in the Hall of Fame.
CLAY AIKEN is my favorite American Idol contestant, even though he did not win
the title of American Idol, he has gone on to become one of the most successful
individuals in the music business. His compassion for others and his love for
his fans is what makes him the most deserving of the favorite American Idol of
all time.
Clay Aiken. Because, as we all know, Ruben Studdard did not deserve to win and
Clay was robbed. Turns out that running second wasn't such a bad thing after
all! It's proven that his superb and precious voice is superior to most of the
others. Kelly Clarkson deserves her success too. You can sign me by my name
ugivemehotflashes.
I nominate Clay Aiken. Clay has an absolutely gorgeous voice -- the best I've
ever heard. He is also a top notch entertainer and hysterically funny up on
stage. He puts on a fantastic show when he goes on tour. There's just no one like
him when it comes to singing, entertaining, and standing for the causes that are
close to his heart.
Clay Aiken is definitely the ultimate idol. Not only can he sing his heart out,
but he relates extremely well to his fans. He is who he is and doesn't make
apologies for it. He has used his celebrity to do great things such as benefits
for UNICEF, Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots and his own foundation the
Bubel / Aiken Foundation. He inspires his fans to be actively involved in their
community and country. He is the epitome of the All-American guy and therefore
the ultimate American Idol. |
